Traditional Chinese medicine has many different treatment styles – which all work in their own unique way. At Juno, I use any of, or a combination of: Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion, Chinese Diet Therapy or Paediatric Massage to obtain optimal results for a broad range of therapeutic areas and health conditions. After an initial consultation, I will tailor a treatment-plan based on each person’s specific needs.
Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture)
My studies have included Acupuncture, Chinese Dietary Therapy, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Counselling and Chinese Exercise Therapy.
I am the founder of Juno Acupuncture and am a fully registered acupuncturist with the AHPRA and the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMR0002142697).
Having worked in a GP medical and allied health practice since 2009, I have seen first-hand the powerful changes that can happen for patients when Western and Eastern healing practices come together.
My top priority is always to have you feeling as good as possible as quickly as possible. When you experience less pain, less fatigue, less anxiety, you function better in your day-to-day life. This then gives us the energy and momentum to start looking at those underlying causes and work at a deeper level.
I look forward to meeting you.

All home visits are $150 and generally take 60-90 minutes.
“I really consider my best days to be those when I have genuinely connected with a person and they have left feeling truly valued.”
frequently asked questions
“DOES ACUPUNCTURE HURT?”
My technique is very gentle and I use Seirin needles, which are incredibly thin and silicon-coated. These needles are synonymous with gentle acupuncture, helping provide the least painful, least stressful treatment possible.
“I’M ON PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE. IS IT STILL OKAY TO HAVE ACUPUNCTURE?”
It’s important that if you are currently in the care of a GP or specialist, that they stay informed. This ensures transparency within your healthcare team and continuity of care for you.
If you are on any medications, you and I will work with that. It is always up to the prescribing physician to monitor the desired outcomes of any medications and make changes if and when they feel necessary.
Acupuncture will just add another tool to your belt!
“DO YOU RE-USE NEEDLES?”
Never! All needles are sterile, single-use and are disposed of immediately after each treatment.
“HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?”
How many treatments are needed varies from person to person. It is natural to want immediate relief, but not all bodies are the same and people experience treatments differently. Some people may notice instant changes, while for others, it may take longer. We constantly re-evaluate during, in-between and after treatments to ensure we are on the right track.
“ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?”
Negative side effects from acupuncture are rare, however, some experience light-headedness, redness or slight bruising. If you suffer from low blood pressure or are prone to dizzy spells, please let me know and I will modify the treatment. Eating, so you don’t have an empty stomach before a treatment can also minimise these risks.
If you experience any unusual changes after a treatment, contact me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Never think your concerns are too silly or strange – it’s always best to check, rather than worry.
“MY CHILD IS AFRAID OF NEEDLES. CAN WE STILL TRY ACUPUNCTURE?”
There are many techniques we apply in acupuncture and using needles that penetrate the skin is only one.
During our first session together, we will discuss what your healthcare priorities are, what you and your child are comfortable with trying, and ways in which you can keep the treatment going once you leave the treatment room.
It’s important to me that you and your little one feel in control of the treatment at all times, so I will show you the instruments we use and explain how we’re using them as we go along. Needles are only used when and if you’re both ready.
By the way, these techniques can also be used for adults, just in case you were wondering…
